Newport; Full of Surprises part 1
I recently took a trip up to Newport, Rhode Island. For a number of years I would travel in and out of Providence, Rhode on business but never took time to visit Newport. Providence is south of Boston and a few hours north of New York. This proximity to those major cities and the ocean helped create Newport. Newport; Full of Surprises part 2
The Newport Mansions are spectacular, but try to make the cliff walk. If you're in a car you'll need to find parking and a way back to your car. This trip took me to Blue Ridge, Georgia where there are a number of tra

The Loveless just west of Nashville on Highway 100 has been around since the early 1950's, originally a hotel and chicken retstau
